Wauneta-Palisade Schools offer a wide variety of Academic courses that range on both the high school and college levels.
PRESCHOOL:
The Preschool is located in the Palisade School and divided in two age groups: Pre-K 3 and Pre-K 4. Transportation to and from school is provided free of charge with our “Magic Carpet” bus service. For more information contact us.
CREDIT HOURS:
The state requires schools to provide a minimum of 400 credit hours. Wauneta-Palisade has a surplus of credits available, with a total of 591 credits offered.
DISTANCE LEARNING PROGRAM:
We have a partnership with Mid Planes Community College (MPCC) and The Nebraska College of Technical Agriculture (NCTA) in Curtis which enables us to provide college courses through our distance learning room. The courses that are available to students include: College English (seniors only), College Algebra (seniors only), and French (juniors and seniors). If a student passes their college course the school will reimburse you for the cost of tuition and book.
ONLINE CLASSES:
Aside from the distance learning college classes, there are also online college classes available for you to take.
ELEMENTARY:
The elementary grades are split up between the Wauneta and Palisade Buildings. K, 1st and 2nd grade are in Wauneta and 3rd, 4th, 5th, and 6th grade are in Palisade.
